The AP1000 Digital Tachometer combines accuracy and reliability in a rugged, compact housing. The AP1000 is completely field programmable, and offers simple set up and calibration for use in a wide variety of monitoring and process control applications. The AP1000 can take a variety of pulse inputs. The meter translates the input pulses to display RPM, or any specified user unit such as feet-per-minute, parts-per-hour, or gallons-per-minute.

The PM500 is a fully programmable process meter that has two 4-20 mA sensor inputs that can be scaled to any user-selected units. The most common inputs are temperature, position, and speed. The sensor transmits the 4-20 mA signal to the PM500 via a two- or three-conductor shielded cable. The PM500 then compares this analog signal to its programmed values to determine the appropriate display value and output states. The inputs are independent of each other and can be displayed as two different processes. For example, one input could be programmed for temperature and the other for position.

Options:

• A 2-channel, 16-bit 4-20 mA output card  

The PM500 is a full-logic process ratemeter that can easily display any production variable such as temperature, position, or rate. The ability to accurately display the signal input and compare it to setpoints makes the PM500 an inexpensive solution to many industrial applications. With the addition of optional relay outputs and/or 4-20 mA analog outputs, the PM500 becomes a complete process control and display system. The optional relay outputs can be programmed for under-setpoint or over-setpoint operation. The 4-20 mA output can be scaled to reflect any area of the monitored range, including operations requiring an inverse output.

The TR400 accurately detects and converts 0.01 to 10,000 Hz signal input and is an inexpensive solution to many industrial applications. With the addition of optional relay outputs and/or 4-20 mA analog output, the TR400 becomes a complete process control and display system. The optional relay outputs can be programmed for underspeed, or overspeed, and include delays at "power up" and output activation. The 4-20 mA output can be scaled to reflect any area of the monitored range, including operations requiring an inverse output.

Quadrature signal decoding gives the TR400 the ability to detect direction as well as speed for bidirectional applications. The relays and 4-20 mA outputs can be programmed in the reverse direction as well as the forward direction, or both directions.

The TR5000 displays up to three separate values of rate (from up to 2 different shafts) and compares them to programmable setpoints. Rates A and B can be programmed for speed or time in process. Rate C displays a relationship between rates A and B. This can be a ratio (A/B), Sum (A+B), Difference (A-B), or Draw (A-B)/B. The ratio feature is typically used in blending and mixing applications. The sum and difference are commonly used when the operator needs to display the combined output of two separate but related processes. Draw is commonly used in web handling systems, such as plastic or wire, to indicate the thickness or stretch of the material being processed.

Options

• 4-20 mA output can be programmed to represent three rates: A, B, or C. The 4-20 mA output can be scaled to reflect any area of the range, including operations requiring an inverse output
